ABOUT MIRANDA

My passion is to always be learning, creating thoughtful images, and experience firsthand all this world has to offer. I couldn’t describe myself better than saying that I’m a visual human - everything I see and do I see in art.

“I swear my eyes are cameras. I see angles, I see the color, I see potential and opportunity.

Growing up I was raised with a camper van endlessly going on adventures and exploring the east coast with my family. My room was always decorated in Eiffel Towers and small trinkets with images of all the beautiful places around the world - little did I know that those small ornaments and family trips would be a huge inspiration to the life and career I am blessed with now.

HOW IT ALL STARTED…

My photography and travel journey all started with borrowing a camera from my High School yearbook club. I had no idea what I was doing, I just knew I wanted to take photos of everything I saw and experienced. After I graduated, my mom gifted me a backpacking trip throughout Spain for completing 4 years of Spanish class and that was when I decided to invest in my first Nikon camera to take with me. It was my first time out of the country alone and looking back, it was a major eye-opening experience that sparked my interest and passion for travel and photography.

I spent the next decade working as a biochemist and then a flight attendant for Delta, dipping my toes into the life of ‘spontaneity’ and ‘adventure.’ It was the perfect job for where I was at in my life and a “vehicle” I could use to see the world. Layover after layover, photo after photo, I slowly started to develop my photography skills and brand. My social media following grew and I started getting noticed — that’s when everything changed!

WHERE I’M AT NOW…

2020 pushed me off my flight attendant career into a full-time photographer role by chance. Although that was an extremely tough time to start, it was all the more push to grow.

Since then I have worked with a plethora of high-end hotels and resorts across the globe, I have shot product and lifestyle content for brands in all the locations I have visited, and best of all I now get to spend quality time with locals experiencing places as a home, and not just as a visitor.

Over 35 countries, 100 brands, and well over 100,000 photographs taken later, I am confident in my skills, my brand, and myself as someone you can entrust and hire.

This is my dream and I am so grateful for your support in continuing my journey.
